Random Acts of Kindness
I paid for a man's coffee this morning that appeared like he could have easily paid for it himself. On my commute into work, I stopped to make sure a stray country dog made its way across the road without trouble. After school today, I had a short meeting with the father of one of my students. He stopped in to talk about his son's progress in my class. The boy is smart, but he's not applying his full potential; which is what I told the father. Starting my car to leave school a few minutes later, my engine wouldn't even click. My car quit on me. The father, the one who just listened to me tell him about his son's lack of effort, helped jump my battery. It came around full circle, and I believe that God had His hand in it the entire time.

Gotta love those random moments God gives us to remind us He is with us!!
Congrats on the Steelers win! My two brother-in-laws are huge fans so I always pull for the Steelers. But I love Kurt Warner, so this game was a win no matter which way it went. What an exciting game to watch! And it was icing on the cake that Holmes (who came from Ohio State, our favorite college football team) played such a great part in the win!
Have a good week. Ann from Chicagoland
I used to help an elderly lady in my church by mowing her yard and painting her house and buildings until she passed away. Just did it out of love for her never expecting anything in return. Since she has passed I feel like I have an additional angel watching over me. All things seem to be going my way and I feel so blessed.
Whether it's additional angels or God just blessing us for being faithful to our calling, I do not have the answer, but it's wonderful to feel the peace that I am being taken care of.
I think if anyone can understand this feeling, it is you.
I am onto my next project....I have become a Guardian to my 28 yr old niece who was in a terrible car accident almost 2 yrs ago. Her lifestyle was a mess before this happened and I feel God has put me in this postition to help get her straightened out. It's going to be a challenge, but one I feel up to at this moment in my life because I know God is walking me through it.
It's a powerful thing to see God working in and through you. I know he's doing the same in your life. Keep doing your random acts of kindess. It's like the song "Keep on casting your bread upon the waters, soon it will all come back to you".
God Bless....
