What a lovely smile! Now that's what I call sunshine! Thank you for sharing your favorite psalm in the post before. Powerful words. When my oldest son was going through some rough early teen years, the verse about how " I am fearfully and wonderfully made" was the core of many a conversation. Aren't the Psalms a wonderful place to get lost in?
You are on my heart a lot lately, my friend. You have a really rough anniversary coming up here soon: my family will be remembering the passing of my father-in-law to cancer on 9/20/07, and he was an incredible man. I miss him so much, as I know you miss your Gracie and Taryn is grieving her sister. And then I see a smile on my youngest (or the picture you shared here) and God's mercy shows itself once again to me.

Ann, I couldn't have made it through the last nearly a year without that smile right there. My wife and son have been such blessings to me, and I can't believe God thought me worthy enough to have such jewels in my life.
